Summer of Success for the McIlroy Lab

This summer brought outstanding recognition for our team! At the 2025 Biodiversity, Ecology and Conservation of Marine Ecosystems conference in Hong Kong, PhD students Joe and Wendy each received the Best Presentation Award, highlighting the strength of their research and communication. Meanwhile, postdoctoral fellow Le Qin earned the Young Investigator Award at the Annual Meeting of the Society for Molecular Biology & Evolution in Beijing. These achievements reflect the lab’s impact across disciplines—congratulations to all!
