After an intense and fruitful field season, one of Prof. Shelby McIlroy’s PhD students has successfully collected a rich set of Acropora coral samples. With phase one complete, the team now shifts focus to exciting in-situ experiments investigating coral resilience to nitrogen pollution. Next up: Florence, Italy! They’ll be sharing their latest findings at the 2025 Gordon Research Conference on Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics—a global stage for cutting-edge ecological science.  Stay tuned for highlights from their GRC presentation!
